Another thought...
Here's a thought to stir the noodle:
What is so fragile, that once given, cannot be received back in any form without breaking it? Yet it is so strong that rarely does anyone assume the ones given to them will EVER be broken.

In my mind it was a promise (or someone's Trust). I guess that would encompass a Secret as well. =)
